One or two days before the party, get your hostess on the phone one last time to get a final headcount, check on directions and parking at the party, and confirm that the household’s men and children have somewhere else to be!

    “I’m so excited to meet your friends! Who are you planning to see tomorrow? And is anyone bringing their friends?”

  • Directions

    “Is there anything I need to know about getting to your place? Great, so my GPS should be able to find you, that’s good to know. And where should I park?”

  • Men and Children

    “What fun stuff will your family be doing while we’re having the party?” (This question is an easy, low-pressure way to confirm all men and children will be gone!)
